About For His Glory Houses
We are a faith-based program where Men and Women can come for one
year or more to seek help and guidance while working through any hurt,
habit or hangup. Most of our residents come from rehab facilities after they
complete them. Some come from prison release (with recommendations
from chaplain) and some come court ordered. We have 5 homes where
people live and pay program fees weekly. This teaches them responsibility
and how to budget and pay bills on time. They must be accountable 24/7.
There are rules and guidelines that must be followed if a breech in rules
occur, the resident will be written up and 3 write-ups will lead to dismissal.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for use of drugs and/or alcohol. We do not
allow dating; church services are mandatory 3 times per week and
celebrate recovery is mandatory once per week. We encourage everyone
to get into Muskogee Bridges Out of Poverty class. We do weekly random
UAs for drugs and alcohol. We have house monitors on site in the homes
that report to us daily. We also pop in randomly just to check on the
residents. We have a lot of love and harmony in the homes. Our goal is to
disciple Men and Women and watch their lives be transformed by the
power of Jesus Christ.
Our approach We take people in from all different walks of life. Some come straight from the streets, some from detox centers, some come after completing rehab, and some come from jail or prisons. We believe everyone deserves the chance to change. Everyone deserves to be free from bondage.
